Earlier this week, a sports car photographer had what will easily be the worst photo shoot of his life. While preparing for a shoot at Amari Supercars in Preston, England, a man believed to be the photographer drove a Lamborghini Aventador through the front doors of the luxury showroom, leaving behind shards of glass and tens of thousands of dollars in damage.
Lamborghini Aventadors are capable of reaching speeds over 200 mph and start at around $400,000 for the base model — not exactly the type of car you want to run through a window during a photo shoot.
Amari Supercar director Saba Syed remained quiet on the details, brushing the crash off as “a minor incident” while speaking to the Lancashire Evening Post. Eyewitnesses have a rather different story though, with one going to far as to calling the incident “mayhem.” According to an eyewitness, the Aventador shot through the showroom doors damaging two other vehicles, believed to be Ferraris, in the process. Nothing appeared out of line with either the vehicle or operator though, with the eyewitnesses saying, “the Lambo was in a right state — and so too was the bloke who’d been driving it.”
Thankfully, no human injuries resulted from the accident, despite an ambulance being called to the scene per protocol.

Costa Mesa, Calif. - Lamborghini Newport Beach celebrated July 4th weekend in dramatic fashion with a 200 mph edition of their extremely popular Supercar Show. While other exotics could still attend and park onsite, the dealership reserved special space for vehicles capable of reaching the 200 mph barrier from the factory. The spectacular cars and perfect weather brought hundreds of spectators to the event enjoying such luxury sports cars as Lamborghini Aventador SVs, McLaren P1s, a Koenigsegg CCX, La Ferrari, several Ford GTs, Porsche 918 Spyder and the McLaren 650S Le Mans Edition. Bruce Meyer and Barry Meguiar graced Lamborghini Newport Beach with their presence as well coming out to enjoy the festivities and bring their own vehicles. Meyer brought one of his incredible hot rods while Meguiar chose a beautiful Ford GT to display. Having the two automobile icons on location was an extreme pleasure and a testament to the popularity of Lamborghini Newport Beach’s monthly event
